The role will lead and support operational systems projects from planning through to implementation, working closely with suppliers, contractors, IT colleagues and operational teams. You will coordinate testing, user acceptance, operational readiness, go-live activity, training and handover, helping to ensure systems are fully embedded and support consistent, efficient ways of working across all locations.
The role will include but not limited to:

Lead or support the delivery of operational systems projects from planning through to successful implementation.

Coordinate project activities, resources, suppliers, contractors and site teams to ensure effective delivery.

Develop project plans, implementation schedules and deployment programmes.

Coordinate testing, user acceptance and operational readiness before go-live.

Monitor project progress, risks and issues, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Coordinate the installation, implementation and commissioning of operational hardware and software systems.

Work closely with suppliers, contractors, IT and operational teams to ensure technical solutions meet operational requirements.

Support software configuration, upgrades and enhancements to meet operational needs.

Attend sites during project implementation, supporting operational teams throughout deployment and go-live.

Carry out site visits to understand operational requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.

Develop and maintain operational procedures, user guides, standard operating procedures and implementation documentation.

Deliver training and support change management activities to embed new systems and best practice across the business.
The key requirements for this role are but not limited to:

Enthusiastic and friendly with a flexible and positive ‘can do’ attitude

Previous experience in a customer service environment (in a leisure/marina/hospitality industry an advantage)

Previous experience coordinating or delivering projects, ideally involving operational systems, software, hardware or business process change.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage project plans, schedules, risks, issues and stakeholder updates.

Self-motivated and able to work without supervision

Strong process, systems and documentation experience

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

Sound awareness of basic health and safety in the workplace

Confident use of IT systems

A practical, resourceful and common-sense approach

Good practical boating skills/qualifications (not essential but an advantage)

Competent swimmer (essential)

Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent
