We are seeking a talented and passionate Experienced Barber to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional grooming services that leave clients feeling confident and refreshed. Your expertise in hair styling, barbering techniques, and customer service will create a welcoming atmosphere where clients look forward to their next visit. You will be expected to work a Sunday every week and some Saturdays for holiday cover.
Duties
- Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and styling tailored to each client’s preferences
- Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and offer expert advice on hair care and grooming options
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to health and safety standards at all times
- Build strong customer relationships through friendly communication and personalized service
- Stay updated on the latest hair styling trends, techniques, and products to ensure top-quality service
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and operational flow
- Promote retail products and grooming packages that enhance the client experience
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styles and techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English
- Proficiency in hair styling, barbering, and grooming tools and products
- Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional recommendations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to personal grooming services
- A valid barbering license or certification as required by local regulations
