As a Sessional Playworker, you will contribute to the planning and delivery of play sessions at The Yard
Position: Sessional Playworker
Location: Linn Park, Glasgow
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Sessional posts do not have guaranteed hours; the role provides additional cover over peak times i.e. holiday periods and periods of absence.

You will be a key part of the team, supporting our core staff, and playing an active role in the set-up, delivery and development of The Yard’s play and youth work provision, ensuring an approach which has the child and/or young person at its centre.

This job is for you if you have:
- Experience of working with children and young people in a play or youth work setting
- A demonstrable understanding of and commitment to the values of play and play work and a commitment to inclusive play opportunities that hold the child at the centre
- A proven ability to work in a flexible manner, as an individual and as part of a team
- Experience of liaising with parents, carers and other professionals
