Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Part 1 Scaffolder to join our scaffolding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for erecting, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures on various sites, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Duties
- Erecting and dismantling scaffold structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications
- Inspecting scaffolding components for damage or wear before use
- Ensuring all scaffolding is secure, stable, and safe for workers at height
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of scaffolding materials and equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area around scaffolding sites
- Adhering to health and safety policies at all times during operations
Experience
- Previous experience in scaffolding is essential
- Knowledge of or use of hand tools and power tools is essential
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations governing scaffolding work
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or plans is beneficial
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and work at heights safely
- Relevant certifications such as CISRS Part 1 or equivalent is essential
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
