Confidential Family Supported Accommodation – Hounslow
Salary: £13.50 per hour (plus sleep-in allowance)

Shifts:
- Early: 08:30 – 17:00
- Late/Sleep-in: 16:30 – 09:00 (includes sleep-in)
- Current priority: Late shifts and weekend availability
About the Role
We are a confidential family supported accommodation service in Hounslow providing a safe, nurturing environment for vulnerable families referred by local authorities. Our team supports parents in developing parenting skills, independence, and daily living abilities.
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting families and their children, acting as a positive role model while ensuring a safe and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical and emotional support to parents and children
- Act as a positive role model for families
- Support with daily routines, parenting, and independent living skills
- Record accurate and factual observations and report safeguarding concerns
- Deliver structured key-work sessions and support plans
- Promote wellbeing, inclusion, and a safe living environment
- Work collaboratively with professionals such as social workers and health services
- Maintain the cleanliness and standards of the home
Sleep-In, Breaks and Pay
- Sleep-in shifts are calculated as 8 hours + £45 per sleep-in allowance
- Starting hourly rate: £13.50 per hour
- Each shift includes a 30 minute unpaid break to be planned with the shift manager
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children, families, or in a residential setting
- Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent)
- Full 5-year employment history
- 2 professional references required
- Subject to Enhanced DBS check
- Must be able to reliably commute to Hounslow within 30 minutes (via car or public transport)
