Oak Lane Cleaning Company is looking for a reliable, friendly and organised Home Help / Housekeeper to join our growing team.
This role is less about traditional cleaning and more about day-to-day housekeeping. We're looking for someone who enjoys keeping a home organised, helping with household tasks and making life a little easier for the people we support.
You could be helping a busy family stay on top of the household, taking care of laundry and household organisation, or simply making sure everything is clean, tidy and taken care of.
What you'll be doing
Every household is different, but your day could include:
- General day-to-day housekeeping
- Laundry, washing and drying
- Folding and putting clothes away
- Ironing
- Changing beds and bed linen
- General tidying and organising
- Keeping kitchens and bathrooms clean and presentable
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
- Helping with everyday household tasks
- Keeping the home running smoothly
We're looking for someone who notices what needs doing and takes pride in making a home feel organised, comfortable and well cared for.

Previous housekeeping, domestic or care experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important.
The hours
We're looking for someone to work 3 days per week during daytime hours, starting at 9–12 hours per week.
This is a year-round position and is not term-time only.
There is an opportunity to increase your hours as our client base grows.

Essential requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- Conversational English
- Right to work in the UK
A DBS certificate is desirable but not essential.
