Key Skilled Operative (Production & Hygiene) Nights
We are currently recruiting for a Key Skilled Operatives to join our Coated and Hygiene Departments in Craigavon. The successful candidate will play a vital role in meeting essential customer deadlines by ensuring all products are produced correctly the first time, in line with customer specifications and company quality standards.
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining high safety, technical, and quality standards, ensuring efficiency, and reducing unnecessary waste. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Shift Patterns Available:
: Sunday to Thursday, 12:00 am – 8:00 am (The night shift begins Sunday night going into Monday morning.)
Hygiene Operative Shift: Monday – Friday shift 2300pm-0700am
Key Responsibilities for Hygiene Operative Nights

Cleaning machinery in the factory.
-
Cleaning all areas of the factory e.g. floors, corridors and walls etc.

Dismantling of machinery.
-
Operation of cleaning equipment.

Reporting of any damage to cleaning equipment, production machinery, walls, floors etc.

Using chemicals appropriately.

Liaison with production personnel etc.
-
Any other reasonable duties as required.
The job incumbent is a member of a team of hygiene operatives, reporting through to an area manager to the hygiene/site manager. Effective liaison, team working and interaction with other operatives and supervisory staff is fundamental.
The job is performed mainly in a chilled factory area and involves extensive periods standing. The incumbent is required to operate effectively; cleaning machinery, fabric and using chemicals as required. It is imperative that the job incumbent is aware of health and safety regulations and adheres to them.

An awareness of the importance of Health and Safety, Hygiene etc. is required.

Previous work experience in a food factory is desirable in Hygiene or Production Department
