Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our current team.
In this vital role, you will be working with 3 other cleaning operatives responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across a modern site.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised effectively to meet health and safety standards.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll holders to maintain operational readiness.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent hygiene standards are met daily.
- Maintain a clean and organised storage area for cleaning equipment and materials.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols at all times during cleaning operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is required.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in professional environments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene excellence.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry items throughout the shift.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.
Hours of Work
There are two opportunities available for 10hrs per week (evening) or, for the right candidate, both shifts (20hrs per week) morning and evening.
6am to 8am - Monday to Friday
5pm to 7pm - Monday and Friday and 6pm to 8pm - Tuesday to Friday
Pay: £12.71 per hour
