Job Title: Cleaning Operative
Location: East Midlands Designer Outlet
Pay Rate: £13.00
Hours: 20 hours per week - Shift pattern will vary
Your Role:
As a Cleaner, you will carry out a variety of cleaning tasks, safely and professionally and to a high standard.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Clean and maintain shopping centre floors, corridors, entrances, and public areas
- Sweep, mop and vacuum floors as required
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in designated areas
- Clean and sanitise public restrooms, including replenishing soap, toilet paper, and other supplies
- Dust and wipe surfaces, fixtures, furniture, and fittings
- Clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, and display areas
- Respond promptly to spillages and potential hazards to maintain a safe environment
- Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and correctly
- Follow health and safety procedures, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals
- Report maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns to supervisors
- Assist with deep-cleaning tasks and special cleaning projects as required
Experience/Skill Requirements - Essential:
- Knowledge of COSHH
- Previous use of cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of H&S would be beneficial again training will be given
