Job Overview
Living on site in a self contained private flat with double bedroom, Kitchen and bathroom. we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Live-in Breakfast Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious breakfast meals in the hotel. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a culinary professional to showcase their skills while providing exceptional service to our guests. The position requires a passion for food preparation, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
Responsibilities
Fire warden, emergency guest contact plus
- Prepare for max 20 bedrooms, 38 resident guests, and cook breakfast dishes according to specified recipes and standards
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
- Plan menus and organise ingredients for daily meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area before, during, and after service

- Manage inventory levels and notify management of stock requirements
- Assist with light housekeeping duties as part of live in
- Responsible for the fire alarm at night
- Adhere to dietary restrictions or special requests provided by guests or management
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
- Experience with meal planning and presentation skills
- Previous experience working in a private residence or similar setting is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently under pressure
- Familiarity with guests in a courteous and professional manner
