Due to continued growth and exciting plans for the future, we are looking to recruit three Trainee Quantity Surveyors to join our dynamic and fast-paced team.
The Role
- Commercially setting up a project
- Financial monitoring of labour resources, reviewing output against predicted via trackers
- Measurement of quantities
- Contract administration
- Subcontractor and material procurement
- Contract and subcontractor negotiations
- Cost and value reconciliation
- Preparing and processing monthly client and subcontractor valuations
- Assisting with the agreement of valuations

As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with and support a Senior Quantity Surveyor and/or Commercial Manager, gaining valuable hands-on experience across a wide range of commercial and quantity surveying activities.

About You
We are looking for highly motivated, reliable and ambitious individuals with a genuine interest in Quantity Surveying and the construction industry.
The successful candidates will have:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong numeracy skills
- A minimum of GCSE Maths Grade 5/C or above
- A minimum of GCSE English Grade 5/C or above
- Good IT literacy skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
