We are looking to recruit a full-time Dental Receptionist to join our modern, forward-thinking private dental practice in Spalding.
As our practice continues to grow and evolve, this is an exciting opportunity for an organised, approachable individual with a strong background in healthcare customer service to become a valued part of our team.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth, welcoming and professional patient journey.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner
- Managing a busy reception desk
- Booking and coordinating appointments in person, by telephone and text
- Notifying clinicians of patient arrivals using dental software
- Handling recalls, failed-to-attend correspondence, referrals and cancellations
- Preparing, scanning and maintaining accurate patient records
- Managing appointment books to ensure surgery time is used effectively
About You
- Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred
- Medical or healthcare reception experience is also highly desirable
- Confident using Exact dental software (SOE) or similar systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Well presented, punctual and reliable
- Friendly, calm and professional, even in a busy environment
- A positive team player who enjoys working in a supportive setting
