We are looking to recruit a full-time Dental Receptionist to join our modern, forward-thinking private dental practice in Spalding.
As our practice continues to grow and evolve, we are seeking an organised, approachable and experienced individual with previous dental reception experience to become a valued part of our team.
Please note: Previous experience working within a dental practice is essential for this role.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in delivering a smooth, welcoming and professional patient experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Managing a busy reception desk within a dental practice environment
- Booking and coordinating appointments in person, by telephone and via text messaging
- Using dental software to manage patient appointments and notify clinicians of patient arrivals
- Handling recalls, failed-to-attend correspondence, referrals and cancellations
- Preparing, scanning and maintaining accurate patient records
- Managing appointment books effectively to maximise surgery utilisation
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
About You
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Dental Receptionist or within a dental practice
- Experience using dental practice management software, ideally Exact (SOE)
- Strong understanding of dental appointment scheduling and patient management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, well-presented and reliable
- Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment
- A positive team player with a proactive approach to work
