Pay: Dependant on Applicant + Overtime Available
Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
Friday, 7:30am - 1:30pm
A degree of flexibility required due to nature of the role.
Murbek Engineering is looking for a reliable and skilled Fitter to join our growing team. The role involves travelling to customer sites within approximately a two-hour radius of Sheffield to install, replace, and service granulator blades and teeth.
Your working day starts from the moment you leave your home, with travel time paid. A fully equipped company vehicle is provided.
Responsibilities
- Install and replace granulator blades and teeth at customer sites.
- Carry out routine maintenance and mechanical fitting work.
- Inspect equipment and identify wear or damage.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Complete basic job reports and communicate effectively with customers.
- Maintain the company vehicle and tools in good condition.
Requirements
- Previous experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance, or a similar engineering role within the recycling industry.
- Ability to use hand and power tools confidently.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
