Your Role as an Extruder Operative
As an Extruder Operative, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of the production process, ensuring high product quality, maintaining safety standards and helping the business meet production targets. You will operate and monitor extrusion equipment within a clean and efficient workspace, contributing to a team-driven and sustainability-focused manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor and adjust extrusion machinery to ensure consistent product quality.
- Maintain quality control checks throughout the production process.
- Achieve production output targets within required timelines and efficiency standards.
- Keep work areas clean, safe and compliant with food manufacturing hygiene requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain smooth production flow and resolve operational issues.
- Follow procedures to reduce waste and support eco-friendly operations.
- Use forklifts and counterbalance vehicles safely and efficiently as part of daily duties.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential
- Experience in a similar role within food manufacturing, production or comparable industry setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Good understanding of safe working practices and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Reliability, motivation and pride in delivering high-quality work.
Desirable
- Previous experience operating extrusion machinery or similar equipment.
- Familiarity with sustainability focused operational practices.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot production issues efficiently.

We have shifts available on a 3-shift rotation of days, afternoons and nights, (8-hour shifts) 06:30 – 14:30, 14:30 – 22:30 and 22:30 – 06:30.
