Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for flexibility, variety, and the chance to make an impact without the long-term commitment of a permanent role? Zen Educate is working with a range of fantastic primary schools across Yeovil and the surrounding BA20 area, and they’re actively seeking passionate Supply Teachers to support their teams.
Whether you're available full-time or just a few days a week, supply teaching offers a rewarding way to stay in the classroom while keeping control over your schedule.
About the Role
As a Supply Teacher, you'll have the chance to teach in a variety of schools, year groups, and classroom settings – no two days are the same. Your responsibilities may include:
- Delivering engaging, pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe, productive learning environment
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Adapting quickly to different school environments and expectations
- Supporting pupils of all abilities, including those with SEN
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
- Confidence managing a classroom independently
- A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach
- Great communication and behaviour management skills
- Availability for at least 2–3 days per week (or more)
