The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Services professional who is passionate about leadership, developing people, delivering exceptional client service, and contributing to business growth.
As an Associate, you will be responsible for leading projects, managing client relationships, developing team capability, and supporting the strategic objectives of both the Building Services discipline and the wider business. You will act as a role model for Ridge's leadership values, helping to drive innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement across the team.

Leadership & People Development

Develop and coach team members, acting as a mentor and providing guidance to support their professional growth and career development.

Lead the successful delivery of Building Services projects across a range of sectors.

Collaborate closely with colleagues from other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions for clients.

Apply innovative thinking and effective problem-solving approaches, encouraging stakeholders to adopt a multidisciplinary perspective.

Stay informed on changes in legislation, industry standards, technology and market trends, proactively communicating key developments to colleagues and clients.
Client & Business Development

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, setting clear expectations and ensuring a high standard of service delivery.

Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert technical and commercial guidance.

Contribute to the discipline's business development strategy and actively support its implementation.

Demonstrate success in winning work, developing new client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.

Commercial Management

About You
-
Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
-
Chartered Engineer status (or actively working towards Chartership).

Significant consultancy experience within Building Services Engineering.

Proven leadership and team development experience.

Experience delivering and managing multidisciplinary projects.

Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent commercial awareness and financial management capabilities.

A proactive approach to business development and networking.

Strong communication, mentoring and relationship-building skills.
