We at Combi Catering Engineers are looking for an experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to join our expanding business. If you're a qualified engineer with strong electrical and gas knowledge, COMCAT certifications, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment for customers across restaurants, hotels, schools, healthcare facilities, pubs, and other commercial catering environments. In and around Suffolk, Norfolk or surrounding areas benefits will include a works van, phone, tablet and tools.
What You'll Be Doing
· Installing and commissioning commercial catering equipment.
· Servicing and carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
· Diagnosing and repairing electrical, gas, and mechanical faults.
· Responding to breakdowns and emergency call-outs will need to cover odd weekends notice would be providedd and a stanby allowance would be paid in lieu.
· Completing service reports and maintaining accurate job records.
· Ensuring all work complies with Gas Safe Regulations and current health and safety standards.
· Delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
· Commercial Catering Engineer experience.
· Gas Safe registered.
· COMCAT 1, 3 and 5 qualifications.
· LPG and Natural Gas qualifications.
· Recognised electrical qualification.
· Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
· Full UK driving licence.
· Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
· May be required to supervise an apprentice periodically.
.· Must have or will need to pass enhanced DBS screening
Desirable:
· COMCAT 2
· Experience with Rational, Falcon, Lincat, Blue Seal, Hobart, Winterhalter, Merrychef, Williams, Foster, and other leading manufacturers.
· Manufacturer training certificates.
· Experience with refrigeration or warewashing equipment.
