Senior Costs draftsperson - In-House Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Costs Lawyer or Draftsperson to join our in-house team. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant contribution to our highly regarded legal aid family team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting complex, detailed bills and handling high-cost matters, as well as providing input into the ongoing development of electronic data input processes and the oversight of reporting functions. Communication with the team is essential in ensuring that the excellent standards delivered to the Legal Aid Agency are consistently maintained.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding IT skills and a comprehensive understanding of legal aid billing. A thorough knowledge of the Client and Cost Management System (CCMS) is essential for this role. We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to communicate well and who seeks a position with a vibrant team, bringing their skills to enhance the established recognition that the firm has for legal aid work.
Location and Working Arrangements
The successful candidate will have the opportunity of a hybrid position of a presence in one of our main offices ( location to suit your preference) and working from home.
