Are you a Sous chef ready for promotion, If so we are looking for a Head Chef for our best Western Calcot Hotel which has recently been refurbished The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent leadership skills, and a flair for creating exceptional dishes. This will
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
_ Recruit his /her own kitchen brigade
- Develop and create innovative menus that meet customers' expectations and seasonal requirements
- Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor food costs and work towards budget targets
- Collaborate with the management team to enhance the overall dining experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within Hotel or restaurant industry
- Strong background in food production, culinary arts, and menu planning
- Proven ability to lead a team effectively, with excellent supervisory and organisational skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a kitchen environment
