We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. Duties
- Operate various production machinery with precision, adhering to operational guidelines and safety procedures.
- Monitor the production process to ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and products, identifying any issues that may affect quality or safety.
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of food products, following specified recipes and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area to meet hygiene regulations.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on machinery and report any malfunctions to maintenance teams promptly.
- Record production data accurately, including quantities produced, machine performance, and quality checks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and adhering to best practices.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in food production or manufacturing environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with industrial equipment is beneficial.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and data recording are required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure product quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including potential weekend or evening hours depending on operational needs.
