Waking night support worker

We are offering a unique opportunity to join a small, friendly team providing care support to a client in their own home in the Coleshill area. Our client lives with a learning disability, Autism and Epilepsy but loves getting out in the community as well as engaging in story books and arts and crafts
Experience with seizure management and working with clients with learning disabilities is essential, however the right person for this role will be someone who is genuinely caring, patient and compassionate who is keen to make a real difference in someone's life.
About us
Here at Salvere Support we support individual clients in their own homes. Our small teams of Personal Assistants provide bespoke, person centered care to really make a difference in our clients lives. You’ll only be working with one client which enables you to truly get to know them and make a meaningful difference each day.
The hours: 21 hours per week (x 2 waking nights. Working 10pm - 8:30am)
Pay: £13.50 per hour

All training is provided and will consist of e-learning courses, face-to-face sessions, practical training, clinical training and competencies. The training is bespoke to the client and fully comprehensive for meeting their needs. We also provide refresher training on a regular basis, to keep your knowledge and skills current.
Who we are looking for:
You must be self motivated, well organised, reliable and an excellent team player. As well as being a naturally caring and compassionate person, we’re seeking Care / Support workers with experience of:
- Personal care
- Personal continence management and measures to maintain a good skin integrity.
- Moving and Handling
- Domestic duties (Laundry, cleaning).
- Seizure management
- Medication Administration - including Buccal protocol
- Basic life support
- Monitoring of general health and well being, and daily record keeping.
- Managing some behaviours that challenge.
You should also have:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness.
