Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and dynamic Reception Supervisor to oversee the front desk operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest services, supervising front desk staff, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Fluency in multiple languages and previous hotel experience are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions and team leadership.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the reception team to ensure smooth operations.
- Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service at all times.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently, handling reservations and enquiries.
- Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as billing, record keeping, and reporting.
- Assist in training new staff members and conducting performance evaluations.
- Maintain a professional appearance of the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organised, and welcoming.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs and enhance overall service quality.
- Implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and service standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel reception or hospitality roles, with previous supervisory experience preferred but not essential
- Fluency in English; additional languages are highly advantageous (multilingual/bilingual).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services excellence.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and organise a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hotel management software and MS Office applications is desirable
- A professional demeanour with excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends and occasional night shifts. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated hospitality professional to lead our front desk team while delivering memorable experiences for our guests.
