Maintenance Technician
We are a growing housing association based in Nottinghamshire seeking reliable Maintenance Technicians (particularly) with Electrical and Plumbing skills to join our team ASAP!
Main duties
Perform routine and general maintenance tasks across ALL properties, including but not limited to:
- Joinery work, repairing plumbing/electrical issues, painting & decorating, PAT testing, health and safety checks, basic filling and plastering, tiling, basic brickwork, gardening/landscaping, CCTV installation & repairs.
- Conduct inspections to identify maintenance work required & priority
- Troubleshoot & repair equipment
- Liaise with external contractors
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Experience
- Solid electrical and plumbing skills
- Painting & decorating
- Proven multi-trade or general building background
- Communication and leadership skills to supervise other maintenance staff as necessary.
Essential
- OWN VAN/VEHICLE (essential)
- Own set of comprehensive tools
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Proficient written and spoken English
Desirable
Qualifications in:
- Plumbing
- Electrics
- Joinery
- Previous experience maintaining a housing association or similar
- Welding skills are a bonus
! REQUIRES DRIVING: This role requires you to travel between any of our properties in and around Nottinghamshire to ensure they remain in a good condition. If you do not drive and have access to a vehicle, please do not apply.
Occasional opportunities for additional earnings from extra installation projects.

Pay: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
