Automotive Receptionist – Corby
Location: Corby
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm
Weekends: No weekends
Contract: Temporary, 12 weeks+ with the potential to become permanent
Echo Personnel are currently recruiting for an Automotive Receptionist to join our client in Corby.
Automotive industry experience is essential for this role. Unfortunately, we are unable to progress applicants who do not have previous experience within the automotive sector.
You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing a friendly and professional service while supporting the day to day running of the reception and trade counter.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls and dealing with customer enquiries
- Taking card payments over the phone and at the trade counter
- Chasing outstanding payments
- Booking customers' vehicles in for servicing, repairs and other work
- Serving customers at the trade counter
- Providing a friendly and approachable customer service
- Dealing with queries and problems confidently and thinking on your feet
- Supporting the wider team with general administration
About You
We are looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with customers. You will need to be organised, reliable and able to remain calm while managing different enquiries and tasks.
Previous experience within the automotive industry is essential.
Breaks
2 x 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break — all unpaid.
This is initially a temporary position for 12 weeks or more, with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
