Overview
We are urgently seeking experienced and skilled Scaffolders for advanced projects, specifically Part 2, COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) applications. This role requires a high level of expertise in scaffolding construction and a strong understanding of safety standards within the construction industry. The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures on-site, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely. Candidates with additional skills in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical experience, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication will be highly regarded. Responsibilities
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety regulations
- Inspect scaffolding regularly to ensure stability and safety throughout the duration of the project
- Collaborate with other trades to facilitate seamless construction processes
- Follow detailed plans and technical drawings to assemble scaffolding accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised work site to prevent hazards or accidents
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for assembly tasks
- Assist with modifications or adjustments to scaffolding as required by project needs
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols at all times during operations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a scaffolders specialising in advanced Part 2 COTS projects
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding techniques, safety standards, and relevant regulations
- Skills in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding or electrical work are advantageous
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in scaffolding assembly
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans accurately
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy loads and working at heights
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Valid certification or accreditation in scaffolding (e.g., CISRS or equivalent) is preferred
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety compliance
