Family Projects Coordinator
RESPONSIBLE TO
Community Wellbeing Manager/Operations Manager
BASED AT
Footprints in the Community HQ
HOURS
21 hours per week
OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE
* Oversee the effective day-to-day delivery of children’s and family projects hosted by Footprints in the Community.
* Provide guidance, support and direction to volunteers involved in delivering these projects.
* Ensure all projects operate within relevant legal requirements and comply with organisational policies and procedures.
* Develop, promote and help expand children’s and family projects to meet community needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-ordinate the day to day running of the Footprints Projects relating to children and families.
- Work with and support the volunteers connected to the projects
- Liaise with the Finance Officer and have an overview of project finances
- Identify appropriate funding opportunities
- Organise and facilitate activities as required
- Record, monitor and evaluate service provision
- Work alongside the Community Wellbeing Partnership
- Produce reports as required
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
- Be aware of safeguarding issues and ensure correct procedure is followed
Requirements
* Maintain confidentiality at all times.
* Be familiar with and adhere to the charity’s policies and procedures and ensure that high standards of quality and good practice are maintained, developed and monitored.
* Undertake training as appropriate.
* Attend regular 1:1 support meeting with line manager.
* Have a flexible approach.
* Have a good level of IT skills
* Undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required from time to time.
This role is funded initially for a 1-year period with potential to be extended.
