SIA SECURITY OFFICER/ PATROL GUARD

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are recruiting professional, highly visible, and proactive SIA-licensed Security Officers to join our team for a high-profile town centre contract.
This role involves standard general security duties, conducting proactive business engagement walk-rounds, liaising with local merchants, supporting loss prevention, and maintaining a high-visibility deterrent.
SHIFT ROTAS & HOURS
We are looking for dedicated guards to cover our core weekend rotation, with additional shifts scaling up:
- Fridays: 16:00 – 04:00 (12 hour night shift)
- Saturdays: 12:00 – 20:00 or 20:00 - 04:00 (8 hour day or night shift - weekly rotation)
- Sundays: 10:00 – 18:00 (8 hour day shift)
- Bank Holidays: 10:00 – 18:00
*Note: Late-night weekend shifts operate as paired patrols for team safety. Those successful to either open or individual interview stage will be notified of the location ASAP
REQUIREMENTS
- Licence: Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is required.
- Footwear & Uniform: Candidates must supply their own black tactical boots and black cargo/combat trousers. Upper uniform/branding provided.
- Equipment: Body-worn cameras and radio comms (Town Link & Dedicated Channel) will be issued on-site.
- Attributes: Strong communication skills, proactive work ethic, and a professional, approachable manner when engaging with local businesses and the public, we welcome applications from those who can communicate effectively, have experience within the field, can diffuse situations, we’re also after a balanced deployment. Training will be ongoing, uniform provided.
