Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist to ensure optimal oral health for our patients. Duties: - Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Provide preventive dental care, such as fluoride treatments and sealants - Assist the dentist during procedures - Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans - Sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff Qualifications: - Valid Dental Hygiene license in [state] - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene - Proficient in medical imaging software and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) - In-depth knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity - Ability to work well in a team environment - Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients Benefits: - Competitive salary based on experience.
