Peter Harding Freight requires a reliable Class 1 HGV Driver (holding a valid ADR Packages Certification is preferred but not essential) based out of Letterston, Pembrokeshire.
We are a family owned haulage company and this job is an all year round permanent position with a view to securing this position long term and forming a relationship with our clients and to be an integral part of our team.
Although the work and position is operated out of Letterston it's not imperative that you live near by as long as you are comfortable to commute. This role would require setting off on a Monday and return Friday . Overtime is rarely required but when it is notice will be given and on a separate overtime rate. An overnight allowance is paid that is additional to the drivers salary and our vehicles have fridge and microwave facilities and are well maintained.
This is a tramping role and you will be required to collect trailers from the nearby ports of Fishguard and Pembroke and deliver throughout the UK, reloading and delivering back to the ports, so a good understanding of the UK road networks is required.
Pay: From £34,120.00 per year
