As the first point of contact for customers, you’ll play an important role in creating the warm, welcoming experience that Forget Me Not is known for. You’ll be a friendly face and voice of the park, dealing with customers in person, over the telephone and via email.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and who can communicate confidently and professionally with a wide range of customers.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a reception, administration or customer-facing role.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- A professional and positive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The role will involve working two days per week, with hours varying seasonally:
1 October – 31 March
15 hours per week – 2 x 9.00am–5.00pm
1 April – 30 September
13 hours per week – 1 x 9.00am–5.00pm and 1 x 10.00am–4.00pm
Weekends are the parks busiest time, and so the receptionist will need to work every other weekend in full.
There will also be occasional opportunities/requirements to work additional hours to provide holiday cover for colleagues.
