We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our client on a Student Accommodation Project in PRESTON PR1.

Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care
- Decorate walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces according to project specifications
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including safe disposal of waste materials
- Assist in colour matching and selecting appropriate paints or finishes as needed
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is highly desirable
- Familiarity with different types of paints, finishes, and application techniques
- Must have your own whites, brushes, rollers etc.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Organised with excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of workmanship
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
