Amber is a brand-new Mediterranean restaurant from the Dean Banks Group, opening in the heart of St Andrews. Inspired by the warmth, flavours and hospitality of the Mediterranean, Amber will offer exceptional food, carefully curated wines and a drinks programme centred around classic cocktails, premium spirits and outstanding service.
We're looking for enthusiastic and passionate Bartenders to join our opening team and help create a vibrant bar experience from day one.
About the Role
As a Bartender, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional drinks and warm, engaging service in a fast-paced environment. Whether crafting classic cocktails, recommending wines or welcoming guests to the bar, you'll play an important role in creating memorable experiences.
You'll have a genuine passion for hospitality, a great eye for detail and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous bartending experience in a quality bar or restaurant.
- Has strong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, beers and wine.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Works calmly and efficiently under pressure.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Maintains high standards of cleanliness and organisation behind the bar.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and eager to learn and develop.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks to a consistently high standard.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests.
- Deliver friendly, professional and engaging service.
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked, clean and well organised throughout service.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge and participate in regular training sessions.
- Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service.
- Follow licensing, health and safety, and company procedures at all times.
