Lead the kitchen at Salentinos.
We're looking for an experienced, passionate and driven Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Salentinos Cumbernauld.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who loves authentic Italian food, thrives in a busy fresh-food environment and enjoys leading and developing a successful team.

The Role
As Head Chef, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring every dish is delivered to the highest standard while creating a positive, motivated and professional working environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and develop the kitchen team.
- Deliver exceptional food quality and consistency every service.
- Manage ordering, stock control, food costs and kitchen labour.
- Recruit, train and mentor chefs.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures.
- Drive kitchen standards, efficiency and organisation.
- Work with management to develop seasonal specials and menu improvements.
- Build a positive team culture where quality and teamwork come first.
About You
- Previous experience as a Head Chef, or a strong Sous Chef ready for the next step.
- Passion for authentic Italian cuisine and fresh cooking.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Commercially minded with experience managing food GP, labour and stock.
- Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills.
- A hands-on leader who leads by example.
