ALS People are currently recruiting for Class 2 LGV Drivers in the Bedford area to work for one of the largest companies in the Waste Industry. (MK41 )
The successful candidate must be able to work responsibly, safely and in a timely manner. Duties will include working as part of a team driving the heavy goods vehicle and loading refuse therefore flexibility is crucial. Full training and induction will be given.
Duties:
- Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle
- You will also be required to assist with the loading
- Working with a crew of refuse loaders
- Customer Service - Public Facing
Requirements:
- Class 2 driving experience is essential
- Must hold a valid CPC certificate
- Must have a digital tachograph card
Previous experience of the waste industry and of waste collection is preferred but not essential as training will be given.

Pay: £17.01 per hour overtime after 45 hours £25.55 per hour Bank Holiday £34.02 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift 6:30am - 15:30pm
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- 8.5 hours guaranteed per day
