Independently owned - Up £500 per day or £14 per UDA - 50% Private split - Dentist required Mondays & Thursdays from Oct 2026
MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in York, North Yorkshire to recruit a Locum Dentist to join their team on a temporary basis.
Vacancy Details:
- Available from October 2026.
- Ongoing for up to 6 months (maternity cover).
- Part time opportunity, 2 days per week.
- Locum Dentist required Mondays and Thursdays 8.30-5.30pm.
- Position belongs to an independently owned dental group.
Remuneration:
- Up to £500 per day or £14 per UDA - depending on preference.
- 50% split on Private in addition to day rate or UDA rate.
- Locum will manage a predominantly NHS list.
- Stable list of patients.
- Dentist will be paid on a monthly basis.
Practice Overview:
- Busy 9 surgery dental practice.
- Computerised (SOE), Digital X-Rays, Rotary Endo, and Intra Oral Cameras.
- FD training practice with 3 trainers on site.
- Dentist will have the support of a Hygienist and onsite Technician.
- Practice offers General Dentistry plus Implants.
- Free onsite parking available.
Essential Requirements:
- GDC Registered Dentist
- NHS Performer Number
- Enhanced DBS Certificate.
