Ensure the efficient allocation and utilisation of the PRG mobile plant operators and equipment on the specific site.
Ensure all plant & equipment under your control is inspected, maintained & monitored by the plant operators and operated in accordance with OEM recommendations.
Control expenditure, where possible, in relation to operations of Rail Freight Services.
Ensure all activities underPRG control are conducted in the safest practicable manner
Ensure resources under your control are managed and maintained to the required company standard
Supervise the environmental impact of all operations to the practical minimum
Perform all duties with due regard to PRG Policies, best practice and legal obligation
To safeguard the Health, Safety and Welfare of all persons under your control and third parties who may be affected by yours or your staff’s actions, by adhering to and enforcing the Health & Safety requirement
Ensure that all aspects of the activities are carried out in accordance with the requirements of all statutory legislation, the Company Health & Safety Policy and Safe Systems of Work
Ensure accidents, Incidents and near miss reporting is effectively implemented. All incidents are to be reported to site management and PRG management immediately.
Assist in the investigation of incidents with site or PRG management when required.
Ensure all operatives under your supervision are fully inducted, familiarised and their performance regularly monitored
Experience:
- CPCS/CSCS: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
