Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential settings
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform precise electrical work according to safety standards and technical specifications
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Follow instructions to complete projects accurately
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within scope
- Be a team player and assist other members of the team, when the need arises
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters
- Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and conduit benders
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of wiring methods, circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights when necessary
- Strong commitment to safety practices and adherence to electrical codes

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
