We are looking for a qualified Massage Therapist to join our team. Our aim is to help clients ease muscle tension, aid recovery, and promote relaxation and well-being.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports Massage treatments.
- Greet clients, listen to their concerns, and identify their needs.
- Provide consultation forms and keep accurate client records.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio, including washing towels and related tasks.
Experience and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in massage therapy.
- Experience working alongside other therapists, especially physiotherapists, is desirable.
- Must be a qualified Massage Therapist; additional qualifications as a Sports Therapist are a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience or familiarity with physical activity, fitness, or sports (such as gym training, running, or cycling) is preferred.
- Ability to encourage repeat appointments and promote studio services.
Work Schedule and Availability:
This is a part-time, self-employed position (approximately 12 hours per week). Currently we require coverage on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. There’s potential for additional hours in the future.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation is pay-per-session, at a rate of £30 per hour of treatment.
Flexible schedule, with advance notice required.
Technical Skills and Tools:
Experience with booking platforms is not essential, but the candidate should be able to handle payments.
Other Requirements:
Good command of English and a professional, presentable appearance.
