Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Responsibilities
- Measure and cut roofing materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and installation.
- Install roofing systems including shingles, metal panels, tiles, or membranes according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Inspect existing roofs for damage or deterioration and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Use schematics and technical drawings to guide installation processes and ensure adherence to design plans.
- Operate welding equipment when required for custom fabrications or metal roofing components.
- Assist with heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, plywood, or metal sheets to maintain efficiency and safety on site.
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, plumbers, and other tradespeople to coordinate seamless project execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in roofing, construction, or related trades with a strong understanding of roofing techniques and materials.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints accurately.
- Knowledge of roofing systems including shingles, metal roofing, membranes, and tiles.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and outdoor conditions.
- Basic carpentry skills along with masonry or plumbing experience are advantageous.
- Strong attention to safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards.
