We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes vintage fashion, understands the stories behind garments, and loves helping customers discover unique pieces. As a Vintage Clothing Sales Associate, you’ll support daily shop operations, deliver great customer service, and help maintain a curated, inspiring shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service — Greet customers, offer styling advice, answer questions about eras, fabrics, and garment care, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Product Knowledge — Understand vintage clothing categories, decades, fabrics, and construction details to help customers make informed choices.
- Merchandising — Steam, tag, price, and display items in an appealing way that reflects the shop’s aesthetic.
- Stock Management — Assist with sorting donations or new stock, identifying quality pieces, checking for flaws, and preparing items for the shop floor.
- Sales & Till Operation — Process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
- Content Support (optional) — Help with social media content, such as photographing outfits, creating reels, or showcasing new arrivals.
- Shop Maintenance — Keep the shop tidy, organised, and visually appealing throughout the day.
Pay: From £12,000.00 per year
