Driver/ warehouse loader operative
Hours: 40.5
Location of Work: Unit T, Gildersome Spur, Leeds, LS27 7JZ
Responsible to: Despatch Manager
Main purpose of post
To work within the despatch team to send and load all jobs accurately and correctly. Ensure accurate picking, locating, and loading of all items. Report any faults in a timely fashion. Scan all items onto vehicles for full loads. Deliver goods when required.
Duties
· Pick and load finished items onto the Company vehicle. Scan on to vehicle and ensure accuracy
· load all glass units for jobs ensuring quality of units and that all units are ready for installation.
· Deliver loads to customer representing company to high standards.
· Ensure safety and full delivery of loads to customer. Completing all paperwork accurately.
· To promote good customer service always when representing the Company.
· Undertaking of tasks to ensure maximum health and safety.
· To assist the despatch manager in all matters relating to the despatch department.
· Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required in order to fulfil the aims and objectives of Kingfisher Windows.
Person Specification
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Good organisation skills
· Physically fit
· Ability to prioritise.
· Attention to detail when producing paperwork and ability to work within set procedures.
