Our Marketing Account Manager is the dedicated point of contact for a portfolio of 15-20 digital marketing accounts. They need to ensure high client satisfaction, consistent service delivery, and retention. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of our full range of digital marketing channels and use this knowledge to provide proactive recommendations to clients. They are a confident communicator who builds strong relationships and ensures client objectives are met through effective coordination with our wider digital marketing team.
Key Responsibilities of the Position
- Manage a portfolio of 15-20 client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Build and maintain long-standing, trusted relationships with clients.
- Ability to build digital marketing strategies and 30/60/90 day plans which align with business objectives including ROI.
- This includes working with channel specialists to develop the right strategy, whilst managing budget and KPIs.
- Serve as the link between clients and the internal team, ensuring client objectives align with business goals.
- Coordinate with internal teams across all marketing channels to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Confidently address client queries, issues, and requests in a timely manner.
- Deliver and report on campaign KPI performance, proactively driving activity to support client retention and growth.
- Identify and act upon opportunities for account development and value growth.
- Facilitate client scoping and account review meetings.
Key Accountabilities
- High client satisfaction rates and trust-based relationships.
- Consistent revenue retention across the assigned accounts.
- Accurate and timely reporting of campaign performance and milestones.
Competencies and Attitude
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in an account management or digital marketing role.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing channels (e.g., SEO, Paid Media, Organic Social).
- Adaptable and able to work well to multiple different deadlines, a natural problem solver, objection handler and collaborator.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills with the confidence to present to clients.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Using data to inform strategic recommendations that drive ROI, in line with our focus on demonstrable business impact.
- Proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple client relationships simultaneously.
- A team player with a positive, problem-solving attitude.
