Business Development & Operations Manager (Multi Business) Join our team as a Business Development & Operations Manager to drive the growth and daily success of two fast-paced businesses. In this unique role, you will balance hands-on league management and outreach for our 6-a-side football and netball leagues while providing operational and growth support for our wellness business and an exciting new gym project. This is a fully remote (work-from-home) position that requires a master multi-tasker who blends rock-solid organization with a passion for customer service.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: 30k year 1, 35k year 2, 40k year 3
Location: Fully Work From Home. Monday -Friday 40 hours flexible time. With flexibility to work occasional Sundays
Core Responsibilities:
Team Recruitment & Outreach: Run outbound sales campaigns via social media, cold calling, and email to recruit new teams for upcoming football and netball seasons.
League Operations & Holiday.
Provide full operational holiday cover for existing league managers, handling match-night coordination, referee/umpire scheduling. Act as the primary point of contact for team captains regarding fixtures, payments, rules, and general inquiries during cover periods.
Venue Management Support. Maintain strong relationships with existing schools, leisure centers, and private sports grounds to ensure high-quality pitch and court access. Audit block-booking schedules to ensure perfect alignment between league fixtures and venue availability.
Customer Bookings & Enquiries: Manage the booking system, onboarding new clients smoothly and resolving scheduling changes efficiently.
Rota Optimization: Build, manage, and continuously optimize staff and practitioner rotas to ensure maximum client coverage and cost efficiency.
