We are currently looking for motivated and quality driven full time or part time Complex Care Support Workers / Caregivers in Strathaven to join our growing Homecare Scotland family.

The Client:
A fabulous young man living with cerebral palsy in rural Strathaven, Lanarkshire. He lives with his family in a fully adapted home. The client uses a wheelchair; he lives a very full and active life and is very sociable. He goes to college, likes to go shopping and bowling with his friends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with college, social activities and outings
- PEG feeding including medication administration
- Assistance with all aspects of personal care, moving and handling on a 2:1 basis
- A Full UK Driving licence is an essential requirement due to the rural location of the clients home and ability to drive his vehicle (automatic).
Desirable Experience:
You will be joining a well-established team of caregivers working on a 2:1 basis. Training, ongoing supervision and support from colleagues, family and manager will be available.
- Excellent team working skills
- Care experience is desirable but not essential as training is provided
- A great sense of fun and humour
- Excellent experience for student nurses/physios
- Able to cover shifts on a bank basis

Our work pattern:
Day Shift Monday – Sunday – 09.00 – 21.00
Night Shift Monday - Sunday – 21.00-09.00
