Location: Cannock Office
We are looking for an experienced Service Administrator to join our busy service department, based from either our Cannock office.
This is a key role within the team, supporting the day-to-day running of the service department and helping coordinate engineers, service requests, planned maintenance and customer enquiries.
We are specifically looking for someone who already has strong administration experience, ideally gained within a service, maintenance, engineering, facilities or similar fast-paced environment. You will need to be confident managing a busy workload, dealing with customers and engineers, and keeping on top of multiple jobs and priorities.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Logging and assigning service calls, breakdowns and maintenance requests
- Coordinating with engineers and helping manage their workloads
- Scheduling planned maintenance, repairs and minor works
- Ensuring jobs are progressed, completed and paperwork is returned promptly
- Speaking with customers by telephone and email and providing regular updates
- Monitoring outstanding jobs and proactively chasing actions
- Maintaining accurate service records and updating management systems
- Tracking works in progress, deadlines and potential delays
- Liaising with internal teams, managers and external suppliers
- Assisting with reports, documentation and general service administration
The role requires someone who can keep communication flowing between customers, engineers and the wider service team while spotting and addressing potential issues before they become problems.
What We're Looking For
Previous administrative experience is essential for this position. Experience within a service or maintenance environment would be particularly advantageous.

- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong telephone manner and written communication skills
- The ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
- Good Microsoft Office and computer system skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence dealing with customers and engineers
- The ability to work independently while being part of a wider team
