Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with rental inquiries, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
- Process rental agreements accurately
- Manage vehicle check-in and check-out procedures, inspecting vehicles for maintenance needs and damages
- Maintain organized records of rentals, returns, and vehicle maintenance schedules
- Provide clear communication about rental terms, vehicle features, and safety guidelines to customers
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Support vehicle maintenance coordination by reporting issues promptly and assisting with basic upkeep tasks
Experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting purposes
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures or experience in a customer service role within the automotive or rental industry is a plus
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism through courteous phone etiquette and attentive customer service
