We are looking for an IT Support Engineer who can troubleshoot technical issues, support end users, and maintain reliable day-to-day technology operations.
You will work closely with employees, clients, infrastructure specialists, software teams, and service providers to resolve incidents, improve system performance, and ensure users receive clear and professional support.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
Provide first and second line support for hardware, software, account, network, and access-related issues.
Incident Management:
Log, prioritise, investigate, and resolve technical incidents within agreed service targets.
User Support:
Assist employees and clients through telephone, email, remote support tools, and face-to-face troubleshooting.
Device Management:
Configure, deploy, maintain, and replace laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices, and workplace peripherals.
Account Administration:
Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, password access, email services, and security groups.
Software Support:
Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot business applications and operating systems.
Microsoft 365 Support:
Support Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and other Microsoft 365 services.
Network Troubleshooting:
Investigate connectivity issues involving wireless networks, local area networks, virtual private networks, and internet access.
Hardware Diagnostics:
Identify faults with computers, printers, docking stations, storage devices, and other office equipment.
Security Support:
Apply security updates, support antivirus tools, follow access control procedures, and report suspicious activity.
New Starter Setup:
Prepare equipment, accounts, software, and access permissions for new employees.
Leaver Administration:
Remove access, recover equipment, and complete account closure procedures when employees leave.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate support notes, technical guides, asset records, known issue information, and resolution steps.
Escalation:
Refer complex incidents to infrastructure, security, application, or supplier teams with clear supporting information.
Asset Management:
Track technology equipment, licences, warranties, assignments, and replacement requirements.
System Monitoring:
Review alerts, service status, device health, storage capacity, and other operational indicators.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify recurring problems and recommend changes that reduce incidents and improve the user experience.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in IT support, technical support, service desk operations, desktop support, or a related role.
Education:
A qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computing, or a related discipline is preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Good understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, user accounts, device configuration, and common business applications.
Networking Knowledge:
Basic understanding of internet connectivity, wireless networks, IP addressing, domain services, virtual private networks, and network troubleshooting.
Support Tools:
Experience with ticketing systems, remote support platforms, device management tools, or asset tracking systems is preferred.
Problem Solving:
Ability to investigate technical issues logically, identify likely causes, and apply practical solutions.
Customer Service:
Strong ability to support users patiently, explain technical steps clearly, and manage expectations professionally.
Communication Skills:
Strong spoken and written English is required, together with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users.
Organisation:
Ability to manage several support requests, maintain accurate records, meet service targets, and prioritise urgent incidents.

Pay: £2,800.00-£3,300.00 per month
