AM Citroen Care Ltd is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our friendly and growing team.
Since Adam and Matt took ownership nearly three years ago, the business has gone from strength to strength. We have retained a loyal base of long-standing customers while welcoming many new ones, and we are now expanding our team to support that continued growth.
We work on vehicles from all manufacturers. On any given day, you could be maintaining an everyday family car, diagnosing a complex electrical fault or working on a high-performance or prestige vehicle.
This is a varied, hands-on role for an experienced technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems and wants to be part of an independent garage with a strong reputation.
What you will be doing
Your work will include:
- Servicing and routine maintenance
- Mechanical repairs
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Investigating electrical and performance issues
- Working on a wide range of makes and models
- Completing work accurately and to a high standard
- Communicating with the wider team about repairs and findings
What we are looking for
The right person will have:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical workshop experience
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on a variety of makes and models
- The confidence to work independently as well as a team environment
- The ability to contribute positively to a close-knit team
- A reliable, enthusiastic and professional approach
- Pride in delivering high-quality work
- A full UK driving licence
An MOT testing qualification would be beneficial, but it is not essential.
What we offer
- Salary is £35,000 to £50,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications and diagnostic capability
- Monday-to-Friday working, with no weekend shifts
- Working hours of 8.00am to 5.30pm
