Job description
As one of the Deli Bar Assistants you will work as a key member of our team to:
- Deliver a high standard of customer service when dealing with customers
- Prepare fresh food in a timely manner to successfully complete customers orders for takeaway e.g. freshly made-to-order sandwiches, salads, paninis, soups etc
- You will understand the proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards required during food preparation, service and clean up.
Key Duties include:
- Welcoming, serving and helping customers with their orders
- Check/Monitor products in sandwich counter and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift
- Operate till (training will be provided)
- Operate coffee machine
- Kitchen food prep
- Check/receive deliveries
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedule
- Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
- Follow security and safety procedures for both staff and customers.
- Maintains a high level of professional appearance and grooming standards
- The role is physical and requires bending, standing, and walking for the entire workday.
- Previous Experienced Candidates Only Need Apply: Minimum of 5 year catering and/or barista experience held a similar role in food preparation/food retail
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
